What Our Delivery Terms Mean
Usually Delivered In.....
This means stock is delivered to us which we then forward on to our customer OR stock is delivered directly from our supplier / manufacturer to our customer. This is dependent on size & weight of items. Delivery will be within days shown. Please note we regularly update our website but cannot always guarantee our suppliers have products in stock. If there is an issue with stock we will notify you as soon as we can via telephone / email.
In Stock - Ready For Dispatch**
This means we physically have the stock in our warehouse. Typically dispatched same working day if order placed before before 2:30pm. **Usually delivered in 1-2 working days (weight restrictions may apply). If you require next working day delivery please select option at checkout (if available).
Pre-Order
Some of our products can be bought on a Pre-Order basis, this will be shown on individual product pages if available. Pre-Order products are normally 'soon to be released' items or stock which is awaiting delivery from the manufacturers. Delivery times are provided by manufactures & will be shown on individual product pages, these are for guidance only & can change without prior notice.

Some orders may have additional carriage applied if they are of a certain postcode (e.g. in Scottish Highlands etc.). This will be displayed at the point of checkout & we reserve the right to apply carriage after the order has been placed with your consent. Most of our parcels are dispatched via DPD. On the day of dispatch you will receive a text / email with the approximate time your parcel will be delivered (normally an hours delivery window is given). Please note however, it is your responsibility to ensure you are available when the courier attempts delivery as not all courier firms have the facility to call ahead. If the time given is unsuitable it is highly recommended that you rearrange delivery of your parcel by replying directly to DPD via the text / email or you can request your parcel is left in a safe place or with a neighbour. We also use other pallet / courier services where sometimes tracking information is not available.

Deliveries into Europe & Overseas
Placing online orders for delivery into the EU, including ROI has currently been suspended.
Due to the current backlog at UK ports, and the closure of some ports and borders into Europe, we have taken the difficult decision to make this unavailable for a period of time.
We would not like to offer customers a service that we are not able to rely on.
We will look to make this available again as soon as possible, however, there are new requirements that will be in place for products leaving the UK into Europe after Brexit on 1st January 2021. Once the delivery situation is more stable, we will implement the required data in order to provide a reliable delivery service into Europe.

These Forgefix Torx Pin self-tapping Security Screws are a specialist screw allowing tightening and release with the unique Torx insert bit. They offer a specialist security fixing in areas where a conventional screw would be used. Their countersunk heads are designed to sink flush with substrates to leave a smooth surface finish. The screws are made from stainless steel for increased resistance to corrosion.
APPLICATION:
Can be used securing ironmongery applications that are left to open access, such as padbolts and T-hinges. Also ideal for use in public sanitary applications for securing toilet roll holders and similar fixtures.
Stainless Steel does not corrode, rust or stain with water as ordinary steel does, but despite the name it is not fully stain-proof, most notably under low oxygen, high salinity, or poor circulation environments. Stainless steel is used where both the properties of steel and resistance to corrosion are required.
The Torx Pin head is based on the Torx head design but has a pin in the centre. This means that the insert bit used for tightening has a female insert offering both increased torque and security.
Self-tapping thread screws have a perfectly designed thread pitch which self-threads into a pre-drilled pilot hole. The thread size is larger than the hole size meaning it cuts a thread into the substrate.
