What Our Delivery Terms Mean
Usually Delivered In.....
This means stock is delivered to us which we then forward on to our customer OR stock is delivered directly from our supplier / manufacturer to our customer. This is dependent on size & weight of items. Delivery will be within days shown. Please note we regularly update our website but cannot always guarantee our suppliers have products in stock. If there is an issue with stock we will notify you as soon as we can via telephone / email.
In Stock - Ready For Dispatch**
This means we physically have the stock in our warehouse. Typically dispatched same working day if order placed before before 2:30pm. **Usually delivered in 1-2 working days (weight restrictions may apply). If you require next working day delivery please select option at checkout (if available).
Pre-Order
Some of our products can be bought on a Pre-Order basis, this will be shown on individual product pages if available. Pre-Order products are normally 'soon to be released' items or stock which is awaiting delivery from the manufacturers. Most of our parcels are dispatched via DPD. On the day of dispatch you will receive a text / email with the approximate time your parcel will be delivered (normally an hours delivery window is given). Please note however, it is your responsibility to ensure you are available when the courier attempts delivery as not all courier firms have the facility to call ahead. If the time given is unsuitable it is highly recommended that you rearrange delivery of your parcel by replying directly to DPD via the text / email or you can request your parcel is left in a safe place or with a neighbour. We also use other pallet / courier services where sometimes tracking information is not available.

Due to the current backlog at UK ports, and the closure of some ports and borders into Europe, we have taken the difficult decision to make this unavailable for a period of time.
We would not like to offer customers a service that we are not able to rely on.
We will look to make this available again as soon as possible, however, there are new requirements that will be in place for products leaving the UK into Europe after Brexit on 1st January 2021. Stihl GTA40 21.6v Cordless Pruner Trimmer 6"
The GTA40 is STIHL's first dedicated battery-powered pruner for professional use. Part of the AS System and powered by 2x AS2 lithium-ion batteries, this tool has been designed for use on the ground or in the air*. Ideal for tree and shrub care, professional work in horticulture and landscaping as well as processing wood on construction sites and working in tree canopies or on crown reduction tasks. *Please note, the GTA40 is only certified for aerial use by trained arborists. The powerful EC engine and 1/4" PM3 saw chain enables clean cutting and the variable chain speed allows full control of the cutting speed during use. The GTA40 also has a sprocket cover with side-mounted chain tensioning and automatic chain lubrication, as well as a tool-free chain oil tank with sufficient volume for use with 6x AS2 batteries.
A soft rubberised handle and upper grip helps prevent slipping during use. The claw-shaped deflector at the top of the tool separates the upper grip area from the cutting attachment. Please be aware that the GTA40 has been designed for use with 2 hands. Can be used by both right and left-handed users thanks to the rocker on both sides of the tool. An attachment ring lets you hook the tool on a belt for easy access whether you are working in the air or on the ground. Also available is the GTA40 holster for quick access during work (sold seperately). A hardcase is included with the GTA40 which can be used to transport the tool, with space included for up to 6x AS2 batteries and an AL5-2 high-speed charger. The GTA40 uses 2x AS2 batteries which are discharged in parallel. The tool cannot be used with only one battery. The charge level indicator of the tool is located on the top of the tool in an easy-to-read position.

Soft Grip
Thanks to the soft grip on the control handle, the chainsaw sits comfortably in the hand and can be operated safely. In addition, the users grip is improved by the soft material, which helps when using the chainsaw in wet conditions.
LED Display
At the push of a button, the LED charge-level indicator will show the battery’s remaining capacity. This allows you to efficiently plan working hours and charge the battery in good time.
Hanging Eye
To secure the GTA 40 against falling during climbing work, the overload ring can be attached to the climbing harness.
EC Motor
Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC motor enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
Captive Nuts
When changing the cutting attachment, you will not risk losing the nuts on the sprocket.
Constant Power
When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. This isn't the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.
Splashproof
IPX4 certified thanks to the encapsulated electronics and sealing of each individual cell. It means that the battery is protected against splashwater from all sides and can be used in rainy conditions.
