Installation
Installation can be done by yourself for any of our Husqvarna Automowers but we highly recommend a professional robotic lawn mower installation to ensure you get the most out of your machine and enjoy many years of trouble-free mowing. Here at ToolsToday.co.uk we offer both wire-free satellite and wired installation depending on the specification of the robot lawn mower you have chosen.

Wire-free installations eliminate the use of a boundary wire but requires knowledge and experience of RTK-satellites to ensure the robot lawn mower can receive signal while cutting your lawn. Depending on the model of Automower, we use the latest dealer only Husqvarna MIT (mower installation tool) app in the installation process. This initial set-up, mapping process and programming is crucial. If, after installation you need to move or update where your Husqvarna Automower works you can do this yourself via the free Automower Connect App. This feature is only available on Husqvarna Automower NERA models and is ideal if any temporary work or new exclusion zones are required in your garden and eliminates any additional call-out costs for reconfiguration.

Wired installations involve manually laying a boundary wire which can be very time consuming. We offer a professional and comprehensive installation service to take this hassle away from you. We use a specialist cable laying machine which buries the cable under the ground offering a better finish but more importantly this stops the cable from getting damaged by wildlife and other gardening tasks you may carry out.

Our installs are done on a quote basis, as every lawn and application can be different. This provides a better result for your lawn and the maximises your investment. Through this quote we are able to offer advice on the selection of machine, type of wire and placement of the install to help meet your requirements and expectations. Once fully installed, our trained engineer will run through all the features and benefits of your new robotic lawn mower answering any questions you may have. State-Of-The-Art Lawn Care
Create a virtual map of your garden and enjoy the benefits of customisable and flexible zone control. You will have complete control of your lawn directly from your smartphone via the Automower Connect app. This enhanced virtual map, enabled via EPOS or AIM Technology, allows you to tailor the cut of your lawn by creating multiple work areas with different settings and temporary stay-out zones to suit your garden needs.

High Precision
Create a virtual map of your lawn using onboard GPS sensors or satellite technology – enabling high accuracy when viewing the mowers position and the installation in the virtual map.

Create Stay-Out Zones
Customise your lawn according to your gardens changing needs. For example, protect Spring flowers in the lawn, create a Rewilding Zone to boost biodiversity or avoid areas with newly sown grass.

Create & Control Work Areas
Accurately define and create work areas – allowing Automower to act according to area settings such as different cutting times and heights. For mowers with a virtual wire installation, different mowing patterns can also be set in different zones.

We will first need to discuss the area of your garden, how complex the layout is and whether or not there are any steep slopes or obstacles, and arrange a site visit if necessary. Customer Responsibility
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the following is met to enable the install to take place. There must be a power supply within 10 metres of the charging docking station location (if the power supply is further away than 10 metres an additional charge will apply). Pets should be kept indoors within reason while the mower is being installed, this is to allow the installer to complete the job as efficiently as possible. The lawn should be cut before the install takes place, this is to lessen the visual impact of the mowers random mowing pattern against traditional "up-down" mowing until this beds in (typically 7-14 days) and to ensure that the cable laying machine (if used) can work efficiently. The lawn area should be tidy and free from mess, non-permanent obstacles and any pet fouling.

Warranty
The install will carry a 30 day warranty period. Should any issue be a customer or naturally caused issue (such as animals chewing the wire) the repair will be charged at our normal hourly rate plus mileage and parts required. Within the warranty period, any return to site will be done as quickly as possible, normally within a 7 day call out period.
