Installation
Installation can be done by yourself for wire-free Kress EyePilot and wired Kress Mission robotic lawn mowers, all other Kress RTKn wire-free models can only be installed by an authorised Kress dealer like ourselves. We highly recommend a professional robotic lawn mower installation to ensure you get the most out of your machine and enjoy many years of trouble-free mowing. Here at ToolsToday.co.uk we offer both wired installation and wire-free satellite installation depending on the specification of the robot lawn mower you have chosen.

Wire-free installations eliminate the use of a boundary wire but requires knowledge and experience of RTK-satellites to ensure the robot lawn mower can receive signal while cutting your lawn. The latest EyePilot models are installed using the Kress App whilst the other models use the Kress mapping cart in the installation process. This initial set-up, mapping process and programming is crucial. EyePilot models do not need the mapping cart but uses the latest technology making it easier for self installation by yourself as less knowledge is required.

Wired installations involve manually laying a boundary wire which can be very time consuming. We offer a professional and comprehensive installation service to take this hassle away from you. We use a specialist cable laying machine which buries the cable under the ground offering a better finish but more importantly this stops the cable from getting damaged by wildlife and other gardening tasks you may carry out.

The cost shown for installation on each Kress robotic lawn mower product page on our website is for a typical installation expected for the mower purchased and varies by model. If an installation is deemed particularly complex, we reserve the right to requote accordingly. A site visit may be required for complex installations. Through this process we are able to offer advice on the selection of machine to help meet your requirements and expectations. Once fully installed, our trained engineer will run through all the features and benefits of your new Kress robotic lawn mower answering any questions you may have. All you need to then do is sit back and enjoy your new lush lawn.

Customer Responsibility
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the following is met to enable the install to take place. There must be a power supply within 10 metres of the charging docking station location (if the power supply is further away than 10 metres an additional charge will apply). Pets should be kept indoors within reason while the mower is being installed, this is to allow the installer to complete the job as efficiently as possible. The lawn should be cut before the install takes place, this is to lessen the visual impact of the mowers random mowing pattern against traditional "up-down" mowing until this beds in (typically 7-14 days) and to ensure that the cable laying machine (if used) can work efficiently. The lawn area should be tidy and free from mess, non-permanent obstacles and any pet fouling.

Warranty
The install will carry a 30 day warranty period. Should any issue be a customer or naturally caused issue (such as animals chewing the wire) the repair will be charged at our normal hourly rate plus mileage and parts required. Within the warranty period, any return to site will be done as quickly as possible, normally within a 7 day call out period.
